JLL Integrated Facilities Management Team Assists Airbnb’s Arrival

In July 2017, JLL's IFM team began to provide services to the new Airbnb China office, ensuring that services are delivered on-time through efficient transition period management.

With a leasing area of over 3,500 sqm, the Airbnb China office is located in the World Financial Centre, at No.1 East 3rd Ring Middle Road in the Chaoyang District of Beijing, which is strategically located in Beijing’s CBD.Founded in August 2008 and headquartered in San Francisco, California, Airbnb is an online hospitality service platform where users can post and search for vacation accommodation information and complete online booking via its website or app. Its community platform offers travelers millions of unique accommodation options in 65,000 cities across 191 countries, from apartments and villas, to castles and even tree houses. Airbnb was named "eBay for the place to stay" by Time magazine and entered China in August 2015

In July 2017, JLL's IFM team began to provide services to the new Airbnb China office, ensuring that services are delivered on-time through efficient transition period management. Through the team’s joint efforts, JLL successfully deployed an on-site team which included subcontractors, and established facility management standards in less than one month, reverting the previous office to its original state and returning it to the owner, and thus ensuring the client’s sustainable business operations. 

JLL’s Beijing IFM team maximizes facility management efficiency through strategically seeking procurement resources, reducing energy consumption, and utilizing flexible project services. Furthermore, JLL utilizes the best procedures, building management technology, and economies of scale to reduce clients’ facility operational costs.
