This transaction broke a two-year lull on the Chengdu major office building trading market, as well as constituting an unprecedented case in which institutional investors purchased an entire Grade A office building in Chengdu’s Financial District or indeed the whole of South Chengdu
Located in the south of the city, Chengdu Yintai Center is the tallest mixed-use development building on the central axis of the financial district and is one of the city’s landmark projects. With a total construction area of around 720,000 m², including five high-rise towers and a large cluster of high-end commercial buildings, the Yintai Center is home to top luxury hotel The Waldorf, two Grade A+ office buildings, the whole-level international shopping center in99, the fully furnished high-rise apartment complex Huayue Fu, and the stylish and spacious apartment complex Huayue Ju. JLL provides professional property and asset management services for the project’s Grade A+ office buildings, high-end business apartments, serviced apartments, and underground parking lots, as well as all the public areas.
The T3 building in this transaction is one of the Grade A+ office buildings, with a total construction area of approximate 80,000 m². It is also one of the office buildings with the highest standard in Chengdu’s Financial District.
