The green campus opened its doors to students
Safety first
Ready to open its second campus in Shanghai, a prestigious British International School required an independent project team to look after the impressive infrastructure while ensuring uninterrupted day-to-day functions. The management was facing multiple challenges. Recruitment of staff was difficult due to the location being relatively remote. Moreover, the ongoing construction of the phase-two campus required a reliable and practical safety plan for faculty and students.
Seamless transition
The institution, sprawling on a 37,000 sqm green campus, partnered with JLL. Our team ensured smooth takeover from their project team. Starting our engagement in the early stages of the project helped us in identifying the defects and strategize the punch list to address them effectively.
First, we isolated the construction area and established a mitigation plan to avoid any risk to people on the campus. We took extra care in recruiting all onsite staff before the school opening, making sure none of the services faced any obstruction.
Sticking to schedule
Working proactively and putting plans in place for unforeseen problems worked. It helped the institution to go ahead confidently with their opening schedule without worrying about the functional requirements of their property. Collaboration with an international institution, having an impressive infrastructure, has added to our advancements in the education sector as well.
