JLL appoints Anny Zhang as Senior Managing Director of China Leasing Business

Shanghai, 17 January 2023 – JLL has appointed Anny Zhang as Senior Managing Director of China Leasing Business, based in Shanghai, with immediate effect. Directly reporting to JLL Greater China CEO Bessie Lee, Anny will be responsible for all aspects of China Leasing Business, including Office, Logistics & Industrial and Retail sectors. At the same time, Anny will retain existing role of Managing Director East China.

Anny has nearly 20 years of rich experience in real estate agency and consultancy. Since joining JLL Leasing team in 2007, Anny has successfully built trust and gained recognition from clients and has maintained an outstanding track record with her wealth of knowledge, expertise, and leadership. In 2022, JLL won many landmark leasing deals across China despite the economic headwind, and successfully facilitated more than 1,000 leasing transactions, with a total leased area of over 10 million square meters.

Anny is a strong advocate and driver of JLL’s digital transformation and technology empowerment in real estate sector. In 2017, with her large contribution, JLL launched the office leasing digital platform “DiChanDaDang”, which covers more than 3,000 projects in 10 major Chinese cities with an area of 100 million square meters. This platform successfully facilitates the office tenants to capture key market data in real-time to optimize their leasing process and decisions; In 2022, “DiChanDaDang” WeChat mini programme was launched during JLL’s debut at the China International Import Expo (CIIE), which showcased JLL’s advancement in PropTech.
