JLL Provides Property Management in Shanghai’s North Bund Area

JLL officially established a project team to provide property management services for the Shanghai International Port building in December 2008. After that, it successively undertook property management responsibility for a variety of nearly ten different projects, including Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal, Shanghai Port Cruise City, Baosteel Resources Guoke Tower One, Shanghai International Shipping Service Center, Commercial Street of Shanghai International Shipping Service Center, White Magnolia Plaza, and Pujiang International Financial Plaza.

The Shanghai North Bund Area is located close to the Bund on the west bank of the Huangpu River opposite the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, and adjacent to two Shanghai Metro lines. The Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal, Shanghai International Shipping Service Center, together with many commercial office buildings and supporting facilities in the area form a comprehensive business development project

At the same time, JLL has been stationed in the district since 2009, and besides property management for office building interiors, it is also responsible for all public areas such as green spaces, public facilities, roads, underground garages, transportation, vehicle parking and energy centers.

As a result, JLL is able to coordinate the overall management of both individual assets and the entire project. This is achieved through the strong resources it has to share, the use of large-scale procurement to reduce costs, and the provision of quick emergency support to ensure the overall quality and image of the entire area. It is in this way that JLL is making a positive contribution to the establishment of the North Bund Area as a new generation CBD in Shanghai.
