In early 2017, JLL's Capital Markets team successfully assisted BlackRock Group in acquiring Waterfront Place Office Buildings E and G. Located in Shanghai's newly-developed central dusiness district. It not only brings a modern, eco-office experience to tenants, but also provides investors and tenants with valuable naming and logo rights.

In early 2017, JLL's Capital Markets team successfully assisted BlackRock Group in acquiring Waterfront Place Office Buildings E and G. Located in Shanghai's newly-developed central dusiness district, with a total construction area of 27,805 square meters (Building E is 21,162 square meters, while Building G is 6,643 square meters). The project is close to Suzhou Creek and adjacent to Changfeng Ecological Park. It not only brings a modern, eco-office experience to tenants, but also provides investors and tenants with valuable naming and logo rights.

JLL acted as the joint sole agent for the seller Prudential Real Estate Group in this transaction, fully utilizing its extensive global investor network resources and professional business literacy. Through detailed initial market research and a series of successful marketing events, JLL introduced a group of highly competitive domestic and overseas potential investors to the seller and successfully facilitated the transaction within the target period.

The final transaction involved two investors from overseas, demonstrating that foreign investors remain confident in the steady growth of office projects in China's key cities.
