Jones Lang LaSalle Xi'an branch celebrates it's Grand Opening

Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL), the global professional services firm specializing in real estate, today successfully held the opening ceremony of its Xi’an Office. This new office marks the Firm’s 11th in Mainland China and 14th in Greater China.

“Xian, as a city which can be traced back to 6,000 years ago, it is a very old city with a rich history. Jones Lang LaSalle was founded in London in 1783, during the Qing dynasty and the reign of Emperor Qianlong. As a 231-years’ age company, we are very young compared to Xian, but quite old and well-established for a real estate services firm.” said Alastair Hughes, CEO Asia Pacific, “2014 marks an incredible milestone for us. It is the year we celebrate our 20th anniversary of entering the mainland China market. Since the first office started in 1994 in Shanghai, we have been providing quality real estate advice and services in over 80 cities across China, supporting our clients with the unparalleled expertise and experience.”

Today we celebrate the birth of our newest offspring: our Xian office. This happy event reflects our commitment to Xian and to China. We are eager to support Xian’s emergence as a major Chinese real estate market. We are equally committed to being part of China’s future in the global real estate market. And we are dedicated to helping our clients increase their access to real estate opportunities here in Xian, across China, and around the world.
