​Jones Lang LaSalle - Hotels & Hospitality Group was appointed by a Beijing real estate developer to determine the optimal market positioning for a boutique hotel. Located in Beijing's historical Houhai area, the property was positioned as a traditional  courtyard (siheyuan) luxury boutique property.

During the positioning process, our team focused on the design of a culturally unique hotel experience, able to attract the most high-end international leisure travellers. Jones Lang LaSalle - Hotels & Hospitality Group also developed creative approaches to work within urban planning constraints, in particular, significant restrictions on plot ratio and building height. Finally, the team provided recommendations on maximising revenue through non-rooms business activities, in order to further drive investment returns in this very exclusive location.
