WPP Campus Shanghai - Co-location & Relocation Project/china/en-gb/case-studies/134/wpp-campus-shanghai-relocationWPP Campus Shanghai - Co-location & Relocation Project<p><span class="ms-rteStyle-Emphasis"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-2 ms-rteFontSize-3">​​Our Client’s Situation</span></span></p><p>WPP engaged JLL to provide project management services to oversee the design, procurement, construction and successful relocation of 26 brands from different locations throughout Shanghai to 1 new building in the heart of Shanghai CBD comprising ~500,000 sqft.</p><p><span class="ms-rteStyle-Emphasis"><span class="ms-rteFontSize-3 ms-rteThemeFontFace-2">Customized Solution</span></span></p><p></p><p></p><p>JLL implemented a central procurement strategy by taking the requirements for all small companies and going out to market as one large bulk procurement this resulted in major discounts on international brands of furniture, carpet chairs etc. for all WPP companies.</p><p>The same strategy was also applied to water and air filtrations systems and a state of the art meeting booking room system which has benefited the smaller companies particularly as these items normally would have been something that their budgets would not allow. </p><div><p>​​​​<img src="/china/en-gb/PublishingImages/Lists/CaseStudies/AllItems/WPP%20Campus%20Shanghai%201.PNG" alt="WPP Campus Shanghai 1.PNG" class="ms-rtePosition-2" style="margin:5px;width:150px;" /><span style="color:#0072c6;font-family:'segoe ui semilight', 'segoe ui', segoe, tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;font-size:13pt;font-style:italic;line-height:1.6;">The Result</span></p></div><p>​JLL Markets, Project & Development Services (“PDS”) and Integrated Facility Management (“IFM”) were awarded to represent WPP and all he WPP umbrella. The PDS team worked side by side with Markets during the final stages of the leasing negotiation stage, providing a seamless transition from Markets to PDS.
