Johnny Shao to lead a group of experienced professionals with strong local industry knowledge
SHANGHAI, March 11, 2016 – JLL (NYSE:JLL) has brought on board Johnny Shao to head its Capital Markets team in Shanghai and East China. Johnny will be directly reporting to Anthony Couse, Managing Director of Shanghai and East China (taking over the role of Asia Pacific CEO on June 1, 2016 ), and later Eddie Ng (succeeding Anthony Couse on June 1, 2016).

Johnny will have the support from key members such as Regional Director Oscar Chan, whose successful asset acquisitions and dispositions in multiple Chinese cities totaling more than USD 1.5 billion; Reeve Wang, the award-winning veteran of the Shanghai market, who previously headed JLL’s office leasing team for the Puxi market and served as Director of Investment for Colliers; Ken Xu, who has rich experience in real estate investment after serving at Ascendas, CBRE and Savills; and Nathan Wright, who has completed more than 40 cross-border M&A and Capital Markets transactions during his sixteen years as an advisor for foreign investors in Shanghai.
“JLL has brought together an exceptional team of experienced Capital Markets professionals,” Johnny said. “I am thrilled to join the team and add to the company’s already stellar reputation of connecting money with opportunity.”
