Eddie Ng joined JLL Hong Kong in 1996. He moved to Chengdu in 2005 to set up the firm’s business operation in the emerging West China region. Chengdu was the first corporate office in a Tier II Chinese city for JLL. From managing a team of only five people to operating three corporate offices (Chengdu, Chongqing and Xi’an) with a total of 1,200 staff today, Ng established JLL’s strategic presence in West China within less than 10 years by offering a full spectrum of services in the region.

“Eddie is one of the core members of JLL’s Greater China Executive Committee and a veteran who has established our leading position in West China,” said KK Fung, Managing Director of JLL Greater China. “East China is one of the most important markets to JLL in China and the Asia Pacific region. I have full confidence that Eddie will continue his success in his new role and further cement our market leadership position in East China.”

“I’ve known Eddie for over 20 years now,” said Couse, “and we have worked very closely in the past ten years for the firm’s strategic growth in China. It gives me great pleasure to know that the East China business will be in Eddie’s highly capable hands and I am confident that he will lead the business growth further.”

“Anthony has built a very strong platform in East China over the past decade and we will fully capitalize on it. I am excited to work with the existing leadership team to continually deliver innovative solutions for our clients,” said Ng. “Chiao and Shelly have been working with me for many years and both of them have made remarkable achievements in their areas. I believe they will work extraordinarily well together and lead the business to achieve our long-term goals.”

Chiao Sheng joined JLL in 2009 and was responsible of JLL’s Retail business in Chengdu and West China. In 2013, he was promoted as the Managing Director of new Xi’an Office. With strong leadership, Chiao has developed the business into the largest professional real estate services firm in Xi'an within only three years. With 15 years real estate experience in China, Chiao is well positioned to lead our West China business.

Shelly Xie joined JLL in 2006 and became a key founding member of the firm’s Chengdu office. She led the strongest Strategic Consulting and Research teams in West China. She has also been responsible for JLL’s Retail business in Chengdu since 2013. Xie has played a vital role in supporting Ng to formulate and implement the firm’s growth strategy in West China. Xie’s outstanding performance made her a well-known real estate expert of the Chengdu market.

“These new assignments reflect our commitment to talent development and are major moves toward a stronger leadership of our Greater China business.” Fung added, “In the coming months, Anthony and Eddie will work closely to ensure a smooth transition and continue to provide our clients with market-leading services.”
