Pudong continues to lead the rebound; Puxi starts to see expansion demand

In the Shanghai Office market, we see both sides of the river in an increased channel. Pudong continued to lead the boom in office space demand in Shanghai, posting another strong result for 1Q10. The Puxi office market started to see a few tenant expansion plans reactivated. Following two consecutive quarters of positive net absorption in Puxi, average rents in Puxi ended 6 quarters of decline and rose by 0.5% q-o-q.
