Beijing Property Monitor - Domestic Consumption Drives Demand in Beijing

In the first quarter of this year, Beijing’s Grade A office market showed a significant rebound in leasing activity, as rents increased for the first time and domestic firms continued to be dominant players. In line with economic recovery, retail demand was also warmer with aggressive expansions led by high-end super markets. As MNCs actively developed business, luxury apartment leasing for overseas expatriates also rose, while growth in the logistics sector remains positive and stable.
